What to Expect

A Jeep will pick you up from your hotel in the morning time, and as a convoy, the cars will start driving you towards Taurus Mountains. For the purposes of this experience, you will tour around the beautiful pine forest of Taurus Mountains, and reach an altitude of 1500 meters above the sea level. The Jeep will be driving on a dusty and rocky mountain path, that at some parts it is watery and muddy. The off-road driving experience is about to offer you adrenaline boosts, fill you with positive emotions, and put a big smile on your face!

Along the way, expect to witness the serenity of the forest and to get some nice views of the landscapes. A stop will take place at a picturesque village, where you will have some time to explore the area, interact with the locals, and experience the infamous Turkish hospitality. During the day, expect also to visit Dim Cayi river, and have some time to snap photos and swim in the cold waters. This river is a famous destination in Taurus Mountains, and you may join several activities there, at an extra cost. Better still, there are inflatable sofas on the river sides, where you can relax and soak up the sun. To fuel up, and unwind in a cosy setting, a lunch break follows at a local restaurant. After the lunch, get ready for another off-road driving experience back to Alanya. The open-top Jeeps provide stunning views of the mountains, so get this opportunity to snap some last photos. Taking this boat tour is certainly the most convenient way to explore sightseeing of Alanya. Exploring the coast line by sea gives you the chance to see where history and myth happened while you soak up as much sun as you can.

What to expect when you book Alanya Boat Trip. During this tour you will visit the main touristic sightseeing like the Old Shipyard and the Red Towers. This boat trip will also give you a sublime view at Alanya castle from various angles. The fortress was built in the 13th century, but the fortifications date back to much earlier, probably the 3rd century BC. It’s really amazing how they managed to stay in such good shape over the years.

Alanya has got a rich history regarding roman occupation, emperors and pirates. The boat will stop at The Pirates, Lovers and Phosphorus caves, where you have the opportunity to swim in and around the caves. According to a story there was a connection between The Pirates cave and the castle. With this passageway pirates used to send girls, they had kidnapped, to the castle. This secret path to the castle has never been found. It’s said the passageway collapsed and closed the entrance. The phosphorus cave is named after the phosphorescent colour of the light inside the cave. The sunlight shines through the water into the cave which gives the water and walls of the caves this brilliant phosphorescent colour. The cave of lovers was used by lovers to meet in secret. The cave’s eastern entrance is about two meters above the sea. Also, this cave is said to have a secret passageway through the mountain which brings you up at the western side of the peninsula.

This boat tour is a perfect blend of sightseeing, history, sunbathing and swimming. The boat will stop near two different beaches, Ulas and Cleopatra beach. Every stop will last around 30 minutes. This gives you enough time to explore the sea creatures in the fascinating shades of blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. If you are lucky, you might see dolphins and turtles.
